Im planning on buying an arb bumper and warn m8000 this weekend and new king coilovers.

Im wondering what spring rate to get. I believe the bumper and winch is roughly 200-250lb. So would it be 700lb springs?

With 700s I'm going to go ahead and say the sway bar becomes optional, but it's entirely up to you.

Ride is harsh because you have them set at max.

I don't know what you're paying, but I really like my ADS remote resi coilovers. Talk to Marie at Headstrong regardless of what you go with.

Do a moose-avoidance maneuver at 25 mph in a parking lot and see if the body roll gets scary. I did this with my Icons (with 650# springs) and quickly put the sway bar back on. I don't think I lifted a tire like the Hilux:

And ride over smaller pavement cracks, expansion joints, and manhole covers will be worse with any of the adjustable 2.5" coilovers, due to loss of rubber bushings at the bottom and rubber isolator mounts at the top. Potholes and speed bumps might see improvement.

I run 700lb springs on Kings with adjusters. I was worried about the sway bar, but after taking it off, haven't seen a reason to put it back on. I do take corners pretty aggressively btw.

Also, aside from a heavy front skid, no other armor. The ride can be super firm, but with the adjusters I can easily change the firmness. If I want a smooth floaty ride, I loosen the adjusters all the way, however the truck tends to body roll a bit, nothing uncontrollable. I typically ride 5-10 clicks in and I get a good balance of comfort and handling.

If and when I throw more weight up front, I do anticipate adjusting the clickers 15-25 in and possibly cranking the preload a bit to compensate.
