Love the way Apple slows down the older phones, then claims it is battery related when in reality it is so people will shell out a thousand bucks for a new phone. Good job Apple.

It actually is the battery. If you don’t want the slow phone, swap the battery and everything should go back to normal. That’s why they took $50 off the price of having them change the battery.

Why would Apple be concerned about my battery life? Why would they offer a deep discount on replacements? The only reason is that they got caught red handed pulling a fast one.

I agree. I’m just saying, replacing the battery will indeed fix the problem.

Anybody download iOS 12 yet? I’m kind of disappointed in the lack of features but the beta does seem to run super smooth. Closing apps without holding them is the biggest thing but that is so lackluster for an entire iOS update.

Wow really??? I’m still running it and haven’t encountered a single bug. Did you lose any data going back to iOS11?

If I could do it over I would have got the 8 instead of my X. Not crazy about the face thing. Sometimes I glance to look at the time and then stick in pocket only to find out it opened and called someone while in my pocket.

I still have my iPhone 6 that I got the day the iPhone 6 hit the shelves. It has the highest GBs at the time, i think 128. Zero interest in upgrading for the butt rape prices they charge now.
