Allpro is actually doing a whole lot better now than they’ve ever been in the past 22 years. Everything is made in house in Fresno CA. now and in stock ever since TG bought them out. When TG acquired AP from John, They had to play catch up on production to fulfill all the past orders that John didnt fulfill. Most people only know half the story of why John sold AP. I was there....Lots of rumors floating out there. But all in all they are doing alot better.

 

Never hurts to ask for some swag! It’s marketing and advertisement for them! Plus, their swag is quality, too...just like their armor!

Yeah that doesn’t matter when you’re blowing lead times by months on end and then won’t pick up the phone.

I’m all for people figuring stuff out, but the business isn’t two people. A few of us are now going to be gone by the time this thing ships.

 

Glad that they're doing better, and more glad that you're actively bringing in parts to the islands. I'll try get in contact the next time I need anything.
I don't know about any of the rumors, I just knew from personal experience that the were hard to deal with and that their quality control was lacking. I spoke to John on numerous occasions and he said a lot, but never followed through with what was discussed. I just gave up because I knew I was wasting my time dealing with them.

ALL pro was always into the toyota offroad scene and made some great parts, but fell off track somewhere along the line. Next thing you know they have so many people outsourcing their parts that their bumpers are on Ebay and no one from AllPro can confirm or deny that its theirs or not. Then they went and moved to Montana.. Hope trail gear gets the brand back to its original glory, I am going to miss seeing their builds, though.

 

Yeah it seems like John just gave up. Those allpro replica bumpers popped up on ebay and everythinf went haywire! And yes TG is slowly bringing it back starting with production and getting products built to have in stock versus made to order.

On another note, Pelfrey has awesome products but seems like they are headed in the same direction as allpro did before being acquired by TG. Hint..

Yeah, I’m not feeling ecstatic about the idea of me leaving island in 45-60 days and we don’t have shipping invoices and now this. I’m going to be requesting a refund and just get from Mobtown cuz they’re local back home.

 

I like mobtown. Cool owner. Was super nice and helpful when I set up the group buy. Wouldn't mind getting more armor from them myself

 

So I’ve tried emailing and calling, but they apparently closed the shop. Cool.

 

I just seen a mobtown labor day sale promo.... i think they might be closed today? Reopen on Tuesday?

 

If it comes down it, you can always dispute via paypal or credit card. Assuming you paid with either of those methods

 

Talking about Pelfreybilt. I won't be on island when the shipment comes in now, and I'm not terribly excited about paying a full price for steel skids to be shipped across the US.

PayPal. I'll give them some time, but I hope it doesn't come down to it. I'd prefer to have gotten in touch with them today and just ordered skids from mobtown because I can pick them up on the east coast for free.. but PB apparently 100% closed shop due to this.. which is completely unacceptable when you think that they're likely holding well over 50K+ worth of pre-orders, group buys, and regular orders.

Fraudulent business practices. They took money from me last week without intention of shipping a product on time. Fuck these guys.
