Anyone know of any low cost or free ways to “rid a dog of pain and suffering”? Boss’ dog is on his last leg and he’s inquiring. Just curious. I’d pay whatever. But I’m different.

There are a number of in-Home euthanasia services. They come out and do everything. I don’t know the costs but I’m sure that taking a dog in to a vet’s office would be cheaper.

Yeah. I don’t have any vet suggestions for him out here. He just needs to man up and pay for it.

He does but I’m sensing he’s cheap and doesn’t want to pay anymore. He just paid a couple hundred for blood tests that said the dog would die within a few days. :/

I think that it cost us about $300 when they came to help our last dog “carry forward”. That was like 2 years ago, so I cannot speak for the pricing now.

    That’s a bummer.

My dog has given me thousands of dollars in vet bills and I wouldn’t hesitate to spend more. $200 or whatever would be worth it to save her days of suffering. I dread when she gets to that point. She’s 8.5 years old, hoping we get a few more years out of her.

Before everyone starts bitching, he can either pay the vet to give it a shot, or pop it behind the ear if he can’t afford it (or have someone do it for him). Either way, a dog that is suffering deserves to not be in pain. If he truly loves his dog, he will end the suffering one way or another.

I have been going to them for all my doggie needs for 20+ years. Even dated one of the techs back in the 90s. Great people.

 Yeah it was no joke of those carnival game "top prize" things, was like 6 feet tall easy. Shitfaced me was like "this is an awesome find" and I was stoked AF but the more sensible (less drunk) members of my party were like "uhhhh dude it probably has bedbugs or something, and don't look at it under a black light..."
So scooby had to die because he had betrayed me and my sense of drunken wonder. Those things are full of a LOT of styrofoam beads, by the way...

I ended up hanging out with a frat house that came to rely on me as their booze ticket. They wanted me to join but I said nah.
However I had an unreasonable capacity for BAC, I was over 21, and I sustained verticality till the wee hours. This is part of why Kyle was to be protected at all costs... ;)

On a more positive note my buddy who went sober a few months ago now got his liver function tests back and he's starting to recover normal function!!:yay:
It was bad enough that they thought he might have had liver cancer, or something terrible like that.
