Picked up this 2005 Tacoma a few weeks ago. She has good work done to her but she had been neglected for a few years now but previous owner.
    What’s in store8598457F-CB33-424F-A790-570948C3D4B1.jpgCAFF5B79-DF39-41B4-A14A-F85527A5BEC8.jpg 76D59529-6B60-4F37-A06C-2F0BD3069956.jpg
Test run in the dirt to get a feel for dampening and rebound setting adjustments needed

Already changed ride height to add more up travel and compensate for four people riding on the truck

Complete king coil over rebuild, possibly different spring rate and revalve along with the hydraulic bump stops

Body mount chop and cut and reweld seam in fender wells

    Chop front bumper and redesign

Make bed cage for one or two spares haven’t decided along with lock box for tools and pro eagle jack

Alll before first weekend of November!

Of course. I’ll get some up later today and I’ll be posting pics as each project gets done and step by steps of each thing.
No cage work done yet. That will be done this year once I get a little further ahead with our 7100 Tacoma build for BITD/more off-road races

Thanks, i appreciate the pics. Im leaning towards doing trailing arms on my build and was wondering how they mounted the coilovers. Thats why i asked about any cage work done. Id be interested in seeing how they mounted them. Are you going to run any bypass shocks back there?

I will be running bypasses. It is setup in the rear for bypasses. Not the front but that’s easy to add. Won’t be putting them on anytime soon though. I want to get the valving set on the coils first and get the odds and ends things done on it.
