Took it in for the 20,000 mile service. Got a clean bill of health. I always get the same service writer and he commented that every time I bring it in something has changed - snorkel this time.
Yesterday (Friday) I picked up a a little something for my baby.



Out of the crate...

3rd layer removed (it was VERY well packaged/protected)...



Tah Dah!!! My new CB antenna mount, no wait, what did I order again? Oh yeah.......


Not sure when I'll get to installing it between the weather and other stuff I need to do but its here.

 

what is the exhaust diameter, do you know by chance? 2.4" i imagine

Note: mine is a 2017 OR TRD (stock exhast).

 

Not trying to defend the service advisor, but it is not a recall. It's a "TSB" which is not the same as a recall. Many people here have printed out the TSB (which can be found here on TW) and taken it with them to the dealer. You might want to consider doing that when you go to the dealership.

 

Made this Homer air pressure equalizer for my Firestone air springs -

Hint: Don’t ever drive with air spring filler hoses hooked up together with a “T” fitting thinking it would be a great way to equalize them, otherwise air will slosh between them when you go around corners , instead fill them both up and put this on temporarily to perfectly equalize the pressure between them.

And if you make the hose long enough, you can equalize pressure between all your tires, too!





It also makes a great emergency air pump if you don’t mind stealing a bit of air pressure from your neighbor’s tires!

I don't think so. This one protects the fogs and bumper, and I think it cleans up the lines of the front of the truck. I don't really care for the look of the stock bumper .

 

Which level kit did you use on your SR?

 

I agree, that's why I have been trying to find something to dress it up as well as protect it. I live in the heart of deer country and I don't have the to get a full bumper like I want to.
