    Ouch. Look at the connector. There will be a number on it. The dealer will want that number and you should be able to get repair wires as well.
    The pic is just for reference. The numbers are tiny...

    Painted arm rests, 2011 front grille,Readylift for 5lug.
    Had that happen to my 2007 reg cab tacoma ac switch.Toyota left the burn harness and replaced the resistor that started the burning.been fine ever since.

    Loose connections are what started the burning. My resistor and harness needed to be replaced due to overheating from a poor connection. My ac control looks fine. Not at all what the OPs looks like....

    Looks like that's the connector for the dash climate control knob, not the one down by the blower motor. Weird.

    I just replaced the one down by the blower motor yesterday with the Dorman kit from Amazon. New resistor and wiring harness, it was pretty easy leaning over from the driver's seat. I think the kit was about $25.

    There is a chance that your blower will need to be replaced. Although it is working, a faulty blower can draw too many amps and causing overheating along with melting at the connections.
