    Is the first gen tundras the way of the future? Can't bring myself to spend the amount of money 1st gen tacomas want. Plus I think the bigger size would be perfect for the kiddo.

    My goal is to get one of those diesel heaters for the taco. I did some research and with how often you would need to fill the second tank it shouldn’t be that big of an issue for a weekend warrior.

    Yeah, friends have them and they have run them in the coldest part of winter for days and they barely use any fuel, so you wouldn't need much fuel at all.

    If I ever move on from a 1st gen Tacoma (which will probably never happen) I've always envisioned going with a 1st gen Tundra... which is a truck I've always wanted.

    But the 14-15 mpg makes my arsehole pucker.
