I have a 3rd gen Tacoma. I’m looking for aftermarket leaf springs. What’s some popular options and what’s everyone running?

Depends on what you are looking for.

There are add a leafs and full packs. Most full packs will give you lift, Alcan, ARB, Deaver, icon, all pro, etc.

The only full pack repalacent that doesn’t give huge lift is the Deaver J66 but are pretty soft.

OME Dakars too. They will lift you a little. If you go with the light setup it’s 5 leafs but has way better payload capability

Call @HeadStrong Off-Road and discuss it with Marie- even if you dont buy it from them, she’s an expert at this, is dead on with her recommendations and is very helpful. They have good prices, too. I ended up getting a single Deaver add a leaf, which gives a 1.5” lift in back with better weight handling and offroad ride, and I’m very happy with it.

In the case were one doesn’t want to lift but just wants to avoid sagging with a load, she can still help with what spring packs or other options to consider.

@little bear: Also consider Firestone air springs, they work really well and adjust perfectly to different weight loads in back. Some people find that they are harsh when hitting bumps, with a little bit of air in them they work better, just don’t run them with zero pressure in them.
