I'd look at the alternator. The battery can't possibly cause spikes.

I was able to get the remains of the old nut off my antenna saving me $50. Slowly tearing shit apart. I knew the front diver side fender had been repaired in the past because of Carfax, but not bad enough that it was replaced. Some real cobbled get it out the door shit on that side of the truck. The fender liner had nothing holding it in but the mud flap and flare screws. The fender flare was an LOL because they used doubled sided tape instead of clips for the upper part. At least the fender so far looks solid and the flare isn't junk.

For anyone curious I ended up just opening the clip with a knife.. lol.. I think I’ll replace it with a nut when I put the new one in... unless there is some special tool I don’t see anyway to have removed that sucker.

Flushed the clutch and brake fluids, knocked some rust off the rear diff and added some paint, serviced same and replaced the drain and fill plugs, successfully completed the “grey wire mod.

Why did you use one of those Allen head fill bolts? I hate those things with a passion.

I find I get a better bite with the 10mm so long as it stays clean. I haven’t had any issues with ‘em. To each his own I suppose.

Not as big of some other mods on here, but a huge benefit and addition!

ScanGauge II, sitting in a Paranoid Fabrication ashtray holder, wrapped in a black, aluminum perforated sheet that I obviously DIY'd. :headbang:

@Bulldogs129, that link sends me to Amazon in general. Any chance you can fire off the brand and/or part# of your actual purchase? I'm in serious need of some replacements. Thanks in advance!

Anytime Oscar! TW is one awesome place.

My tank was pretty nasty and nozzles would stop up so we bought 12ft of hose from O’Reillys.
    Good luck

Definitely thinking it’s the alternator going bad. Thinking of doing the CS144? upgrade when I do it
