Inspired by the Where Have You Off-Roaded Today Thread, I thought it'd be nice to start an all inclusive Toyota Off-Road Thread. If you're in a Toyota, and you are off-road, I want to see it!

    Rules:
    1. Your post must include a Toyota vehicle that you drive, in an off-road situation.
    2. Must include a minimum of 3 photos - let's face it we're all here for the off-road porn. You can post some non-vehicle pics of landscape/scenery.
    3. A small 1-2 sentence blurb stating where you are/were and what's going on. Some back-story is great too!

Stretch Goal: To see Toyota off-road pics from every state! Let's do this!

    Edit:
States we've been to through this post:
    CO
    TN
    CA
    KS
    AZ

    Inaugural Post:

Great Sand Dunes National Park, CO

My friend and I road tripped to CO for my wedding. We hit up some national parks, saw lots of wildlife, stopped at some breweries. We got to GSDNP around sunset the night before. The campground was full, so we took the 4x4 trail to the primitive camping area. Aired down the tires and drove in the dark a few miles in the soft sand to the camping area. The view the next morning was amazing!

AZTW idiots used 4wd yesterday and went crazy. Raw Deal at Table Mesa north of Phoenix, AZ. Shredded Tire, Broken CV, broken taillight, multiple winches in use, danger noodles, no cares.

Mammoth, California - San Joaquin Ridge trail ....I took my parents for their first off road adventure. It ended up pushing me to probably my limit for what I’m comfortable doing at this point. But it’s a short trail so I stuck it out. Lots of elevation gain including one pretty serious hill climb with some rutted areas, rock shelves, tight tree spacing, and some patches of fairly thick snow. Unfortunately I didn’t take many photos from the journey up because I was a little tense. These are primarily photos from the top with mammoth mountain in the background. The last quarter mile was fairly smooth with just elevation gain as you can see here. I highly recommend this trail for anyone with a capable rig and not afraid of heights. The top is very narrow

I live in North East Kansas, and there really aren't that many dedicated off-roading trails. So we try to get creative and find low-maintenance roads out in the country. This happens to be one of the closest + best ones I know of. Me and a friend of mine, on his '98 Cherokee, had some fun here while the cows watched.

My TRD Offroad is completely stock. It's crazy how capable these trucks are just off the factory floor. I think people underestimate them and tend to buy more off-roading parts than they "need". However, I understand the temptation :)

Roads like these are used by farmers to access the back of their fields. Imagine what a 7' John Deere tire does to these roads after it rains? Well, it creates an awesome off-road playground.

I'm going to have to come back after it rains and see how much mud I can find.

Just for perspective, you can see how easy it would be to get high-centered if you slid off. I guess that may be why people are buying huge tires and lift kits :D

It was a great weekend spent with friends and I finished it off by spending a solid 20 min at the carwash.

Did a little dirt driving this weekend. Nothing technical, but did manage ~70 miles of dirt between Strawberry CA (hwy 108) and Columbia CA.

First 12 miles of dirt was with my wife and Father in Law in his stock jeep. Then they took teh highway back and I didn't touch asphalt until I was a mile from my FIL's house.
