If you like clam chowder you MUST hit Spash Cafe at the very end of the Pismo downtown strip by the beach. Super rich folks are known to fly the chowder in via helicopter lol no shit. Camping on the beach is a must.

Spent the day cleaning it, repaired a water leak in the faucet, fixed a window screen, ran all the appliances, fridge made it down to 38 degrees, should be sufficient. Freezer portion was downright cold and frosty, didn't think to try making ice cubes, but I'm sure it will. Ice cream sandwich camping ftw.
    Found 38 cents in change.
Used a nail gun to tighten up a few panels that only had staples.
Redid the steps to work with my truck, replaced a bunch of weatherstripping around the various access doors. Tried the solar panel, it puts out enough to trickle charge the battery, only 50 watts. I might just upgrade to 100 watt panel, but for now I'll see how it does since I'm really not running anything except lights, water pump and maybe the occasional heater.
Still need to wire it to the truck charging system, I want to also isolate the truck battery so I don't leave myself stranded.
Need to fill the propane and find a new converter/charger (it never had a converter). Of course everybody closed until Tuesday, imagine that.
    And it's ready to go.
    :D

Those 1st gen Tundra Doublecabs are long. They’re actually a tiny bit longer than a current CrewMax. That price seems pretty good for a clean 4wd DC Tundra. Miles aren’t ridiculous, either.

My first new vehicle purchase was a 2002 Tundra Access Cab. Loved that truck, I’d get another in a heartbeat.

Yeah, overall longer, but does have a legit sized bed...which i currently don't have. Towing capacity isn't great though.

    Quick landscaping question:

I plan on making rock paths (landscaping stones... 1/2" or so) that will not get a lot of heavy traffic. What has anyone used for edging to hold all the stone in place? I'm not interested in stone, brick, etc edging. I'm looking for metal or composite types. I'm also needing something that can be shaped into slight curves.

I need 140' of total length and am not looking to spend $1000 on fricken edging.

I don't mind the look of rust patina and have been eyeing this product... however it's too expensive for my wallet: https://www.amazon.com/Coyote-Landscape-Products-Edging-18-Gauge/dp/B0158F06FU

Looks like a 6 1/2 ft bed. Only thing it's lacking is towing capacity for the travel trailer

A small handful of select mods.
Metal edging can be dangerous for bare feet and paws. So if you do go that route make sure to buy the plastic cap to put on it. There are versions of metal edging that have a rolled cap which keeps it from being sharp but costs more.

Yeah that stuff has a rolled cap on it.

I still have childhood fears about the razor sharp metal edging my mom put in our landscaping.

I'm not sure you're reading that price right. $50 for 5x8'=40' so if you need 140' you're looking at $200 with some leftovers. That's not out of line with local suppliers at least up here: https://www.crystallandscapesupplies.com/pricing However, I will make a couple of recommendations. First, I highly suggest springing for the 6" instead of 4". Grass grows under 4" pretty easily. Most people still go with 4", but... Second, I'd make sure to get the rolltop. As @Gramps mentioned, flattop can be sharp. I do not recommend the plastic tops. Shit comes off all the time, or gets torn up by mowers and just degrades in sunlight. I've never seen an install of it that lasted. And rolltop generally isn't any more expensive (at least at the supplier I link to above). Expense comes more with depth and metal type/finish.

Now, if you really want to be cheap... I might have enough that would cover you that's going to the scrap yard. It is 'pre-patinaed' for you :D but still solid, at least the pieces I've handled so far. It isn't rolltop, it's 4", and it's all the way up here, but it would be free. If you're interested I can take a couple of pictures and get the total length laying out there.
