Well, more all around would be an Expedition but not cheap either.

I'd go Tundra DCLB with a cap and the fold down front cap window with a full retractable cab window, and have the inflatable boot between them. Then you have a 20' long SUV, with enough towing capacity for just about anything.

A used Tundra with the 5.7 and that mega cab might suite your needs. There's a lot of room in them if you wanted to stay wth Toyota. Shell on the back to carry anything that would take up space in the cab usually might work out for you. I agree though the full size trucks have a huge amount of room compared to our trucks and will tow 10x better.

Only bad thing about a Tundra is it's too wide for some trails... It's like offroading with a limo

I... :anonymous: That's why I'm going with a shorter wheel based truck, hence the FunRunner :D

Yeah I've toyed with this a good bit. To many scenarios in play that could create more issues. Found a nice looking Excursion that I'm going to checkout. Keeping the Tacoma, love it, also paid for lol.

Still my dream truck. That's why I want to Rhino line all my vehicles. Get past the cosmetics and see how awesome they can perform. Toyota's had the right formula for years, just wish they weren't so expensive (at least the ones I want lol).

When I bought my 2012 Tundra I wanted a Taco. The kickback from Toy and the discounts made the Taco as much. I should have kept the Tundra. It would be paid for now. I traded it for a 14' 4Runner Trail. Loved that too. I stopped towing large loads is why. Now I finally have a Taco. Happy AF! Wish I had one of each. That older 4runner for $3k is so tempting. I could just say scew lifting the Taco and buy that for wheeling.

I get bored so easy Mark. It's stupid is what it is.

It's a running joke that I trade vehicles before they need new tires.

This Tacoma is going to break that vicious cycle.

I'm ordering the 6112s/5160s, HS 3 leaf AAL, JBAs this week.

I promised the wife the Taco and the Lex were it for a long while.

She's an enabler though. At the bar the other night she was like "hey, the Lex. Is two years old now, what's the deal on that new Supra?"

    She's worse than me.
