I am a tire a wheel novice and would really appreciate your help. I have a 2017 Tacoma double cab SR5 4x4 with 245\75R16 tires and want to go to a taller tire and 17" wheels. Will a P255\75r17 on 17X8 with 25mm offset fit on my truck? Will I need a lift? Do I need a wheel with a different offset?

    Thanks,
    Robert

You can run 265/70r17 on your stock suspension without a lift. Depending on the wheel backspacing it may rub slightly on decline/uphill turns, etc. 25mm offset is stock on the 16'' OR wheels. So you'd be good.
