Back when I was still a contractor, I had a load of roofing delivered to a job one morning when there was rain predicted. The woman who owned the house was there when the delivery showed up. She called me and asked if I thought it was alright to let the shingles get rained on.

I sure hope it was OK....

They can’t get the boom through the trees, they’re have to unload by hand. Poor roofers are going to have to carry the bundles up a ladder.
I should ask them to tarp the shingles so they don’t get wet. ;)

But can he drive a nail?

My dad used a 12oz claw hammer to frame with. That's a small light hammer by most standards. I've seen him drive twice the volume of nails as other guys in the same time.

    Technique.

    Wrist action! :jerkoff:

Personally...I liked 16oz wood handled hammer

Tap once to set, hit once to sink. I’m sure I’m sure rusty now that we use nail guns.

Dad wouldnt allow "one of those death traps" electric mitre saws on the job until he used mine....

He laughed at me when I bought my first compressor an d air nailers......until he used mine.

I wonder what he'd say about battery nailers?

I have no signal, so I can’t reload the video, but I think he’s driving a nail above his head.

    Lol.

When I worked in Colorado, we named our group of guys, “close enough construction.” We said close enough at least 20 times a day. How’s it look, “close enough!”
