Gotcha. I was looking at my phone weather app and it indicates rain, but Weather on local tv channel looks good.

    Let’s go :burnrubber:

We'll, they're calling for a chance a couple of days, but this time of year 40-60% chances mean pop up thunder storms. They won't be around long enough to saturate the ground anyway.

22 is a lot of fun wet. Don't touch the blacks if it's raining though

also this may happen if it's raining/Snow(y)ing

Successfully welded the galvanized flat bar over the weekend while working on the DIY skids.
Didn't poison myself and didn't burn through the thinner base sheet metal.

    :humble:

That was some good welding practice.

I say the middle TN crowd all rendezvous at Gordonsville exit 258 at the Pilot at 6. That'll put us at windrock at 8.

TRD Off Road sticker. Not the whole package, just the sticker.
Anyone have a good way to really clean up and reseason a cast iron skillet. Took it with me camping this weekend and it got ruined. My asshole cousin used it to cook breakfast. When he was done, he left it sitting over the fire in the bbq pit for 6-7 hrs while we were canoeing. So it cooked all the oil and grease off it. He was also slow cooking a butt and had the bright ideas to use a couple 2x4s to prop up a piece of tin to keep the smoke in the pit. Of course the wood caught fire, almost burnt the camp down and the wood fell onto my skillet and now has black burn marks and soot all over it. I'm hoping it can be saved because it was a wedding gift. The Mrs. doesn't know about it yet and will not be happy with me if she finds out. Not to happy with my idiot cousin.

Buy new replacement for wife and one for you....cheaper than letting her find out you ruinied one of her dishes out camping.

I'm sure there's a way to fix it..probably requires baking it in the oven which will raise suspicion from the wife as any use of the oven not explicitly requested by the wife will turn an eyebrow.

    Try Google.....it knows.....alot.

Give me your email address and I'll send you my method. I've taken rusted piles of crap from junk shops and made them look new again. Unless it's cracked, cast iron can ALWAYS be brought back.

How many middle TN folks we expecting? @Kenstaroni may be riding with me. Is there a safe place off exit 258 for him to leave his rig?
