    Batten down the hatches. Family was on vacation on Kauai as Iniki was forming and we got home the day it started moving north. Watching it at home was surreal, and cannot even begin to think about riding it out.
    Take care, and be prepared for a chicken outbreak. That changed the island forever.

    Eastern side of Hawaii island got +44" of rain but the rest of us seem OK.
    Lane is now a tropical storm; thanks to wind sheer and trade winds, it's well on it's way to a depression.

    I will be unavailable after lunch Monday through Wednesday.

    My Process
    I designed a custom press plate that guarantees a proper press every time by aligning and only applying pressure at the proper bearing surface.
    I also designed a custom tool for installing the seal, which evenly distributes pressure on the metal surface.

    Ummmmmm, when and where did I miss that prerunner hubs finally dropped in price? Who makes the new hubs because I know for a while most people had to use genuine Toyota hubs only?

    I don't get why people with prerunners don't use 4wd hubs and outer CV joint stubs. As I have mentioned before, that's the way it's done on the rear of the FWD Honda CRV.
