You're not going to be disappointed. I would compare the difference between having it and not having it as towing a trailer, vs not towing a trailer. The truck seems like it bugs down at low rpm and on take off. With it installed it feels like it should. You won't have to do any extra math to figure you're mpg either. Remember too that the calculation on the dash(for me) is about .5 mpg short of what it's actually getting by the amount used to the miles you have gone.

Seems like a one-time-use mod, when your done with it, if you sell it let me know.

I went 255/85/16 dick Cepek, extreme country M/T. Best I’ve ever seen is 17.. usually I’m in the 14-16.5 range. I understand your frustration, had I known it was this bad I would’ve just bought fatter tires lol. But I keep telling my self the computer is off and I day-dream about 20+ mpg.

It doesn’t just help you calculate mileage it helps the truck shift. I was suprised by it. Keep an eye on that too after you get it plugged in. I was really happy with it.

Sadly it's not a one time use, it connects to the cable that would normally connect to the back of the cluster and then the cluster itself. Then it recalculates based off what you program it to. It has to stay in though
