Dealership Lied on Transmission Fluid Service on CPO Sale

Yeah, buying the truck new and maybe a recall is the only reason to deal with them

 

Had a similar experience at a Ford dealership with my 7.3L. I had dated and initialed the oil filter when I installed it, and asked them to change oil while it was in for other things. On pick-up, the oil change wasn't on the work order. I was assured by service writer it had been done. I sign for truck, then crawl under it. My oil filter still there . . . . (You know it's fun to call a complete stranger a liar in front of a bunch of other strangers and know there's nothing he can say back . . . .)

 

Lol the dealer has the same saying only in reverse !

I was told by a dealership service tech that 2018 Tacomas need no flash update. Date of Manufacture Nov 2017 @ San Antonio.
I obtained some Toyota Genuine ATF crusher washers for the ATF drain plug and fill plug.
I will service the WS fluid myself thank you, using Eneos ECO ATF.

Quick drain and fill ~2.75 qts at ambient temp, measure and replacement method.
