    This confused me as well the first time I changed my oil in my 2.7 L. The manual calls for 6.1 quarts, but the local dealership told me it was 5.5 quarts.

    Many others on another forum told me they just put in 6 quarts and call it good, adding that if it was a little over full it wouldn't hurt a thing. Makes it much simpler that way, as I'm not left with that stupid .5 quart looking at me. Besides, the larger fill will mean it will go that much further before I have to change it, and might run a little cooler as well.
