About to pull the trigger on some coverking cordura ballistic seat covers. Anyone have these and any positives or negatives?

Have some with the MOLLE system on the back.

Fit is decent on front seats, not like that of Wet Okole, but it protects 98% of the seat.
    Material is robust.
Stitching has held up really well to me sliding in/out and pulling on them.
Have installed/removed more pouches than I can remember on the seat backs and no stick has ever pulled loose.

Water stained my driver seat though.

so the water resistant layer doesn't really do anything then? I can get a set of front/rear for about $360 (without the molle back unfortunately) would you buy them again?

I bought the Coverking genuine neoprene front and back for about $300-350 off Costco online and have had mine on for nearly 2 years now and they still look new. I sponge them off with Nikwax (wetsuit cleaner) every few months and they clean up so easily, cover the seats tightly and look OEM

I went with Ruff tuff but they are basically the same. Worth every penny and they fit like a glove.

Edit: No cons yet, but Ive only had them for a couple months.

Yes sir! The flaps are held together by three, half inch velcro tabs for a very clean look

Damn those look good!!! I,ve done a lot of research and decided to go with the Ruff Tuff. Does the center console piece fit good? Worth getting?

I picked it up because it was only $20 more. I didn't think I would like it, but it has grown on me. The console piece fits very snug. I thought it was too small at first but it just took some elbow grease to get it over it.

If you get all the options available it can run you close to $900 ( "special ops" package (molle webbing), pistol pocket, molle front pouch, headrests, arm rest, etc. )

I only bought the front for now, will buy the back when I get around to it. I never use the back seats so it wasnt a necessity.

edit: wait time is 4 weeks exactly

They probably have a sale on now. I will say i love my covers. But if you use the pouches and have people in the bavk on a regular basis it can be unsettling for them depending on seat location.

I have plain Coverking Ballistics (non-molle type) in the rear of my truck for the past 3 years or so. I don’t know 100% what the material is, but I know it isn’t your traditional cordura they claim it to be. Maybe it’s the “UV treatment” added to it. Can be a good thing or a bad thing, on one hand it makes slipping in and out of the truck easy but then it doesn’t really lock you in your seat.

I bought them off eBay as surplus stock for a damn good price. I’d never buy them again.

I might opt for Carharts if the canvas material is what you are looking for.

Edit: durability isn’t any better than any other fabric. I’ve thrown some items in the back that surprisingly did rip up the fabric a bit when it shouldn’t have, or higher quality cordura would’ve been fine.

What color did you get? I am deciding between black with light or dark gray inserts? Should I go light or dark gray inserts...?
