    The lowered rails are no problem. Does any part of the clamp touch the bottom of the rail? You only need less than 1/4" of an inch to slip the LED strip in.

    Your product looks awesome and I hope to order soon for a long bed. A couple of questions for you. I am undecided on the soft topper light strips (which I assume is also used for a hard topper as well) as it seems the bed rail kit should provide plenty of light with a topper installed. The bed rail lights must be directing more light downwards towards my sleeping platform, but given the confined space and their perceived output, they appear to provide plenty of light. Your thoughts? Is everyone with a topper just buying the additional light strips?

    Also, I have read through most of the pages and I thought I read the remote does let you control the brightness or output of the lights?

    How do the hood lights hold up to the heat from the engine? Does the tape come off eventually? Seems like the heat would cause an issue
