    Howdy Folks,

As the title says, I am having an issue with the rear install. The new locator washer (upper mount) has a larger flange to engage the hole which the shock shaft goes through.

The original shock shaft size (upper mount) is 10mm which results in a locator washer flange size of 18mm. Cool, the hole in the upper shock mounting is 18mm. No problem

The BP-51 has a shaft size of 14mm resulting in the flange on the locator washer coming in at approx. 24mm. Problem. The locator washer does not fit into the 18mm hole.
I really don't like the idea of the new shock mount shaft slopping around in the mounting hole because it is not located properly.

Have any of your guys run into this? And did you find a solution?
I'm guessing opening up the hole is the solution...

I did not notice if this was a thing either time I installed the rears. I could take a look at mine later to day.

Also I don't remember stepping up the hole in the mount either.

I just used the stock one off the top of my bilstiens seems to fit perfectly, but I haven’t tightened it all back together yet. Currently sitting on jack stands at home

Test drove after reusing the stock top plate. No issues thus far as well as not needing to bore out the stock shock mount
