09 taco and I am ripping the v6 apart because of chewed wires, this is my fourth yota and it will be my last v6, this one may never run again. Based on the simple fact that you can't fix stupid

    Guessing rodents chewed his wiring?
Those can easily be thousands of $$$$ to replace...

Ever tried some bounce dryer sheets tied to various spots in the engine bay? Works quite well for the price to keep rodents away.

Rujack do you ever get into the wrong gear on your upper shift pattern R-1-3 5th i dont hae a problem with

Tomorrow I will pull the water jacket assembly off the rear of the motor so I can remove the pipes I plan on replacing both sensors since I have disassembled the motor

Putting it back together is going to be the worst part I have had reconstructive surgery on my hands so they don't work so good

I think it would be faster and less expensive to just replace the motor

That gif is just how I feel, when I look at the stupid engineering that went into the design of where they put the knock sensors on the v6 I shake my head and walk away and remind myself that you can't fix stupid

Common issue on the V6. Almost all of us had chewed wires. For some reason rats avoid the 4 cyl. Surprised you didn't know that.

    All the mods
Soy-based products used for the wire covers. Sadly this is common throughout the auto industry nowadays.

Add flavored wires and easy access to a nice place to build a nest

And then make it so it cost thousands of dollars in labor to install a 20 dollar part to repair the chewed wires
