We have teamed up with Tread Lightly for the ultimate partnership!

Tread Lightly, Treads Lightly! Them and their partners lead a national initiative to protect and enhance recreation access and opportunities by promoting outdoor ethics to heighten individuals’ sense of good stewardship. Tread Lightly!’s goal is to balance the needs of the people who enjoy outdoor recreation with our need to maintain healthy ecosystems and thriving populations of fish and wildlife. The scope of our work includes both land and water, and is representative of nearly every form of outdoor recreation including, but not limited to hunting, recreational shooting, fishing, and boating. We also have a niche in promoting safe and responsible use of motorized and mechanized vehicles in the outdoors.

We are thrilled to be partnering with a organization like them. It is important for us to share this with you so you can to join in! Helping to keep our trails clean so all of us can keep wheeling, rock crawling, camping & enjoying them!

Dometic and Tread Lightly! 25,000 Clean Miles Contest:

Dometic and Tread Lightly! are teaming up and issuing a nationwide challenge campaign geared toward off-highway vehicle enthusiasts to actively clean-up their favorite trails. Additionally, Dometic and Tread Lightly! will hold a joint 4x4 trail stewardship effort on July 31, 2018 hosted by All 4 Fun in Empire, Colorado. Volunteers will be cleaning trash and debris from trails and surrounding areas during the event. The miles covered during this clean-up will help meet Dometic's goal of 25,000 clean miles this year. Dometic is encouraging all outdoor enthusiasts to participate and help contribute to 25,000 clean miles as we clean up trails and promote public lands for years to come.


Contest Dates:

July 1 – August 30


How to Enter:

1. Clean up litter from an area you enjoy - this could be a trail, park or other area out in nature.

2. Take a photo or video of your clean up (see the Full Official Rules link below for requirements).

3. Post photo or video on social media with the caption of your choice.

4. Use #25000CleanMilesContest at the beginning of your post caption.

5. Tag @Dometic in post.

6. You are now entered for a chance to win a Dometic CFX40W powered cooler!
