Just pay it off and get another vehicle. I bought a new kia Optima in 2011 and really wanted a Tacoma again. So used that itch to motivate me to pay off the new car quickly, and save up enough to pay cash on the Taco. No car payments and I love the Taco, but my preferred choice to drive is the optima. Gets twice as good of gas mileage and is a more comfortable ride. And that makes the weekend vehicle feel new longer. I get all excited Friday night thinking about where I am going to go in my Taco, and what parts to order. Im a weirdo its true. But patients pays off

I did the same thing. No issues and no need to get recalibrated by the dealership

What tires do you have on there? Have you noticed additional road noise compared to OEM?

Its better than not sticking out far enough. When things get tight on the trail ,you'll be happy you have them.

I hear you about this. There are some good YouTube vids on doing it using a heat gun and wooden broom handle. I had the CMC done, but my biggest point of contact was on the inside front bottom of the front fender well. There is a bolt that runs through a clip there that holds the body molding in place. By chance there is another hole in the body molding in the same area. I cut off the bolt retainer area with a sharp hacksaw. Then with a heat gun and section of rounded wooden broom handle I was able to move the fender liner inward to match up with the other hole and used the bolt clip I cut off to connect it together. It gave me about 1 1/2” more room at the front of the wheel well, right at the spot the tire was occasionally rubbing on turns, and it looks like it was factory done. Watch some of the YouTube vids. I usually don’t have good skills with stuff like this but by luck or skill it turned out perfectly.

@Murdoch33 Do you gain a substantial amount of room behind the seat for storage after removing the factory stuff and adding the panel?

Power is out at work, so that means no microwave for lunchtime. So, I am channeling my inner @DubfromGA and using the tailgate to cook on.
