Afe 2005-2011 headers so cal

Afe headers for non- air injected 4.0 tacomas (2005-2011). Ram these for 18 months or so. Cats have been hollowed out. No issues with them, just pulled them to install equal length long tubes. $100 picked up in Santa Clarita, ca. No shipping.

I’m headed out of town on a 7 day tuna fishing trip. I doubt I can find the time to ship before then. If they haven’t been picked up before I leave on Monday I’ll most likely be willing to ship when I get back

 

Is there anything that hollowing the cats would come with? Throwing codes? My engine is stock. I'm in Canada and we have emissions test every 2 years.

 

Need any other parts for install? How do they sound?

 

You’d need 02 sims or spark plug defoulers for the 02’s. I can’t really comment on sound as I’m running a custom exhaust the isn’t like what most run. My exhaust was setup to sound as stock as possible

Pulls the o2’s directly out of the exhaust stream causing them to rear less hydrocarbons. They require a little fine tuning, but that’s how we used to trick ecu’s prior to having o2 sims for all the vechles
