Passenger side on the frame. Not sure what the box is next to it, but it looks like something is seeping into the frame from the area ? About to hit the dealer for a routine mileage/seeping rear diff, but would like to point this out as well but not get blown off

Also tried searching TW then Google neither were helping

Could be a body mount fluid leak.

that is weirdly clean. it's not that box to the right, because all that has in it is a bracket with two weatherpak connectors, lord knows why. I don't think there's a body mount there either.

It has gotten larger I have been gone for 9 weeks and came back last night. Also it has a slight oily feel and comes off if I rub it but i can't ID the smell or feel

Seriously, get under the truck and check your transmission seals and filler plug as well as your t-case if 4wd.

Clean it and the area off real good. Like real real good. Drive it for a little bit and see if that helps to identify the source.

my 16 developed a leak and I thought it was from the trans pan. Cleaned it up and found out it was the main rear seal! Luckily that was under powertrain warranty. hopefully yours is nothing major

You weren’t very clear in your post, but I hope you aren’t considering a seeping diff as routine. If you are, you might want to reconsider. Anyway, if your diff is leaking make them fix it no matter how little it is. That’s not supposed to be acceptable. Just had mine fixed for the second time.

The other leak you showed I would have them investigate and go from there. These dealerships are giving too many excuses, getting out of a lot of work, and not taking care of our truck properly.

No the diff is definitely not routine but the rest of the " x the box here" inspection crap is what I was referring to and seeing as the priority is the diff but I am close enough for the routine just going to double down on the two at once

As for investing further I dont think it'll be an issue seeing as the diff is leaking so if something else is leaking as well but they dont look into what I have requested, it could go sideways quick

I just had to have corporate get involved in my second issue with it. Others have had repeat fixes as well to the diff. It’s a bad sign that our trucks are doing this... and they are giving owners excuses and pushback. Just make sure they do right by your truck! Best of luck man!

The part that concerns me isn't that it needed to be fixed once, ( obviously it is a safety concern but easily identified and it's a new truck gonna have issues)but a second time is unacceptable
