3" LIFT.. but what tire size for 18"s

about to pull the trigger on this 3" lift w Fox coilovers but have been back in forth on what wheel size to get.. I love the way 18"s look on Taco's (seen a lot of videos w 18"s on Tacos) but I'm being told 17"s are the way to go w Tacoma's (but will still do 18"s per customers request) if I go 18"s I know I want a lower profile RT tire... and if I do 17"s I still want to do lower profile tires... I'm not a fan of the 70 & up tires.. to much tire... now with this all being said what size tire do I go with for either 17"s or 18" wheels... 275 65 17/18?

 

Will the truck be used off-road? If so, then you're gonna want 70 and up side wall. If it's a mall crawler, fine, just don't put those stupid looking low profile mud terrains on.
