After hiking 6 miles round trip to Calf Creek, drove like @YamaDirtrider over the washboard of Hole in the Wall trail. The washboard smooths out around 53 mph.
Hiked Peek-a-Boo and Spooky slot canyons.

Thanks to @Stig for posting about freecampsites.net.
It lead me to a campsite near Bryce off FR88.

Your close. I’m just outside of the north rim of the grand cannon. Hoping to hit Bryce and Zion in a day or two

    Nice!

I took FS87 past Tropic reservoir
    F942FFA3-D4D8-431A-A098-800E428A6336.jpg

then west on FR 109 to Hatch, Utah.
    51750ECD-F891-4305-A944-D6D65E3B5939.jpg
Took 89 south and planned on driving through Zion Wednesday but it was closed from 6:30am to 1:30 pm. Took Hwy 14 to Ceder Creek instead to pick up I15.
Spending the night in Primm, NV. Cruising to Pismo Thursday to meet up with some friends for the weekend.

For sho! There is a video somewhere with me out in Moab. Sand is softer to land on compared to ice. Don’t get to carried away with jumping. Motor Mount perches are very thin. Looking good tho.

Thanks - Just getting ready to head out to the dunes again. Checked the suspension already, looked at body panel gaps for any changes from before. Lookin’ good so far. Checking the motor mounts now. Todays object is to drive more smoothly, less abusively. I am amazed how much pounding these trucks can take from this rookie dunes driver.

Yeah these trucks are awesome and can take a pounding. Just throwing out there a weak point . Once you get a taste of blood (jumping tacos) you’ll want more. :D have fun!

Here’s another picture of the nose dive landing:

I did the “Upper A Arm zert puncture through the wheel well sheet metal mod” right there.
    Motor mounts still look good.

Your recent alignment seems to be holding up. Still tracks as before.

Saturday was fun. Spent all day on Oceano Dunes. We cruised around, stopped for cocktails, repeat. We had about 12 vehicles gathered at one point. A wide variety of vehicles as the families brought what they had. On the last cruise of the day, there was an unfamiliar sound on the drivers side rear. When we stopped I found the lower shock mount bolt had back out. Missed that on the morning inspection. I brought a pavestone with me to support the Hi lift on the sand, and jacked the truck up to reattach the shock. Tied it together with 4 zip ties and a ratchet strap.

One of my buddies is a Quality Control engineer and he gave it the FIFI stamp of approval. (F!?k it, fly it). We finished our cocktails and made it back 3 miles to the campsite with no problems. I drove it to the local Auto Zone, which opened at 7:30 am on Sunday and found a bolt. Ready for Sunday’s activities!

I ran Fins n things yesterday with a 4RUNNER. Completed all obstacles and only used my locker once on the wall. Minor damage to hitch and bumper other then that no problems. Super fun trail! Also ran dome plateau on Friday very scenic with a couple of obstacles.623E9961-437F-4241-8228-B89796555CD7.jpg

How do you like having the RTT flip towards the rear rather than to one of the sides? Especially with a lower height bed rack.

Photo dump of Argentine and McClellan today with @303tacoma and @Nazupag524. Two awesome trails!

We actually missed a turn and took the lower trail by Leavenworth Creek for a good portion of the climb before merging back with Argentine. On the way down from McClellan we took a slightly more direct route which got stupid narrow in some pines. I wonder if that’s the section @Coop68 almost went up with his group earlier this season?
