yeah it's just weird that they were able to order them in 2 days when I bought 4, but when I called to get 2 (one as a replacement and one as a spare), they told me it would be a week and a half to get them from Texas...oh well.

The more I talk to others on the forum with the ST Maxx tires the more I'm realizing it was just shitty luck that I punctured the sidewall like that, most are saying they've never had or heard of that happening. Supposed to be a pretty tough AT tire

Nice, well minus my one sidewall issue they've been great tires on the few trails I've been able to use them on so far. No complaints other than that which was hopefully an isolated incident

Yeah, hopefully it was just a fluke. They are supposed to be pretty durable. Glad to hear you like them. Should be a big upgrade for me.

I sort of want to try Thunderer MTs. They're a Thai brand apparently they have some semi-decent rubber for drifting competitions out there.

but it sucks about the sidewalls. My KO2s are about 2 years old but only have like 10,000 miles on them, the sidewalls are peeling where the mold seams where. I have to say, the Goodyear MT/Rs are a way nicer tire, though I got solidly 1-2mpg less because of the weight of those tires and they wear faster.

That was one thing that irritated me about both sets of KO2s I had...the sidewall peeling and scraping off. Even when they were new, after a couple wheeling trips there would be pieces of the outside missing showing the white layer underneath. They were tough though and never punctured or went flat on me but they peeled and chunked pretty bad.

    Thanks all.

First time on Gold Mountain and it as a great day of wheeling with @eon_blue @eccracer104 @Titus94 @Prayn4surf

I got high centered at one point and @eccracer104 had to give me a little tug.

@Titus94 killed it with open diffs :hattip:
