    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Welded together the base my Aux battery will sit on... and welded it to the fender well. (No, there will not be pictures of this because holy shit, my welds look like garbage... but it's solid and is going to hold)

Finished re-making the battery tray and hold down.

Now, need to paint the tray, base and area around the base, and start actually installing the second battery.

Weathertech” custom floor mats magically appeared on my doorstep today!! Thanks FedEx!!
I Just put them in and I’m pretty stoked!

$200 delivered ($18 shipping) front and back.
I suppose it’s worth $200 bucks if I never have to clean Spilled Horchata, AKA Mexican vomit drink , out of my carpet again! ‍
I don’t know why my girlfriend likes that crap so much...
Now I want to figure something out to cover the carpet that the floor mats don’t cover.

    Thanks “Pairodice”
I’m hoping after a day or two in this Texas heat they’ll mold themselves to fit even better!

I'm debating going with weathertechs or just a complete vinyl floor. I want to pull the carpet to dyna mat it anyway, but I don't think they make a molded kit

There is a molded vinyl floor specific for a 1st gen double cab. I think it was 400$, see if I can dig up the link.

Got any more pictures of how you mounted the camera? Looks like you removed the threaded insert and used the camera as a tailgate handle bolt?

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Just bought some 10W-40 with extra zinc. We'll see if the 3RZ-FZE likes that more. Seems with the extra pressure it has been shearing down the 5w-30 too easily. But when I put Rotella 10-40 it wouldn't shear that. Hope it likes the MaxLife 10W-40 since I don't wanna use a diesel oil since they lack friction modifiers.
