    anyone have suggestions on bumpers and winches for my 2017 Tacoma? Also side steps.? Any input would be great.

    There's a lot of vendors but CBI I love for the 3rd gens. As for a winch I have a smittybilt an it does well but warn is the best an for steps you may wanna get rock sliders CBI makes those as well.

    Don't get "side steps." Sidesteps/running boards are the weak pieces of crap that bend under your own weight as you get in the vehicle.

    What you want are rock sliders. These are the things you can actually bash and support the weight of the vehicle when going offroad.

    4xInnovations make a couple models, as do many others. I got the weld on versions for my 2004 Tacoma for under $300. They make some bolt on ones for around $600 I think. Check out their drop test videos, they end up bending the frame before doing anything to the sliders.


    Bolt on or weld on, doesn't really matter, IMO, the weld on ones are usually cheaper, but obviously you need to know how to weld. The strength is pretty much the same between the two types.
