Gotta give it up to CBI for a quality product. Fitment, feel, and aesthetic on point! Sliders are awaiting install but here are pics of my CBI Moab 1.0 front bumper with full hoops.

Hey does anyone have any more pictures of their overland skid set? I'm interested but confused because they sell only 2 skids everyone else sells 3

I placed a order thru there old website. It still had the old skid plate pics (all flat) few weeks later I saw some different pics on the forums then what I had ordered. I thought that’s not what I ordered. So I called CBI. I inquired about my order. I was told the old style is discontinued. I have a exhaust reroute so I didn’t want that metal bulge hanging low. I told them I wanted it all flat ( like the old style) He informed me the new style offers more ground clearance then the old style. I think great, I’ll stick with the new ones. I just want them flat( no exhaust bulge) he told me they can’t do that. I say you can’t leave the metal there and not cut it out and weld on the bulge. He says no. So I say ok can you just not weld the bulge parts on. Says can’t do that either. So....Looks like when they arrive I’ll cut the exhaust bulge out and weld in a flat plate myself.
All fairness he offered me the old style in aluminum and offered to give me a good deal. Think I just happened to order right before they updated there website. Also the bumper I ordered shipped within days of the original quote. Overall the 2 times I called they were super friendly.

That’s pretty...interesting? Haha but I guess no customization should keep the overall lead times down, even if they are doing more work to weld the bulges etc. and if that’s beefy enough and more ground clearance than their completely flat version guess that’s a good thing, just not really sure how it could with the exhaust hanging so low from the factory, and the bulge obviously going under that. Thanks for the info! If you can put up pics when you receive and install that’d be awesome! @HolyReptar and I are curious how far back they extend for T-case coverage

Edit: I’d be confused about the order mix up as well. When I saw them post the overland style ones I figured they were keeping their original ones and the overland ones were another product line

Hope I explain correctly. The old version was level with the exhaust. Thus it was flat the entire length. The new version is tucked up higher, the exhaust bulge clearance is still the same as the old skid.

Thanks for the picture bud. I am going to probably go your route took and cut the welds and pay someone to weld in a piece of metal for me, since I want the extra clearance.

Hahaha yes everything to scale  seriously though that did help! I’m more visual anyways so it makes sense now. Hmmm not sure which way I wanna go now, I’ll see how it goes for you, that sounds like the best option/most clearance

Anyone have the Bushmaster 1.0 with dual swing?

I'd really like to see how it looks on a truck.

Also, how much difference is there between the straight, and angled tire carrier? Really having a hard time finding pictures of that.

    Thanks!

fullsizeoutput_1669.jpg fullsizeoutput_166c.jpg ghD%NI6qRYSZZSRzQoZVVw.jpg fullsizeoutput_166b.jpg fullsizeoutput_166d.jpg Just got the CBI Moab 2.0 in aluminum with full hoops installed. Inside is a Warn Zeon 10-S winch, BD fog lights and an ARB Intensity 40 light bar on top. Also CBI aluminum skids on the bottom, the 2-piece design. @HolyReptar if you still wanted to see, here is a pic.

I gotta say, the Moab 2.0 was not my first choice. In pics, I just didn't like the look. After another (nameless) company tried to jack my $5,000, I went with the recommendation of my shop and got CBI parts. Seeing it in person, I am really, really impressed. The fit and finish is fantastic, the clearance is about as good as it gets and the truck looks really awesome. Reminds me of a Polaris RaZR. My only complaint on the bumper is that the fog lights are really deeply recessed and look kinda "stuck in there". Otherwise, very happy so far. CBI was ahead of schedule on delivery as well.

I haven't been able to test the skids yet, but they look pretty solid at-a-glance and I'll be testing them next weekend for sure. I had also requested a set of their ditch light brackets but my shop says they didn't actually fit. They said they tried 2nd and 3rd gen. @CBI Offroad Fab what's up with that?

    Here's a few pics...

Here's the hardware I received with my Moab 2.0 for my 2014 DCSB. I can't figure out how these mount to the lights and to the bumper. There's only one supplied nut and bolt with each one.

CBI isn’t on here much, you’d probably get a quicker response via email or phone.
