I have a set of Mickey Thompson Baja STZ LT275/70R17 tires on my 2006 Tacoma. They probably have about 10k of tread left, so I am researching the next set.

They look awesome, but they are also loud as hell.

I have a good deal available on a set of Kenda tires due to favors owed.

Anyone know about the Kenda tires? Have any suggestions?

They make decent dirt bike and ATV tires. I don't trust them for regular tires, though. A set my mother-in-law ordered (against my advice) were as completely bald as racing slicks in less than 15,000 miles on a Chevy Aveo.

I have Kenda Klever MT's on my F150 35/12.50/17 I have 45,000 miles on them. They have about 1/3 tread left on them. I got them very cheap $600 for the set with a disclaimer that said they are cheap tires that will require a lot of weight to balance. So I believe they are blems one of them took 12 ounces. They have given good traction in wet dry and snowy roads. Did well on the passes and trails out in Colorado and they seem to do well in what little mud I have had them in. They did develop a shake after several hours at 80 mph on our way to and from Colorado 2 trips no issues since they were new then. They have gotten noisy with wear but so did my last tires.

Cheap I agree with junk not so much. 45,000 miles a lot of that over 80 mph. 2 trips to Colorado, 1 to Ohio brought back a motorcycle for my wife, 1 trip to Indianapolis, 1 trip to the black hills with motorcycles on trailer, and 1 trip to Georgia. About to make another trip to Georgia on the same tires and with motorcycles on trailer. All of those trips 8 to 13 hours on the interstate. Not to mention the off-roading on those trips and around home, and several 2 hour plus trips locally on the interstate.
