Not enough to have a build thread.
Not attempting to make anyone jealous.

Just saying thanks again to everyone to put any tip in. Jesus those ribs were good. And a buddy brought over a top sirloin. We seasoned it and threw it on. That turned out really good as well. Sent my dad home with half a rack. Had 2 friends over and still have half a rack for leftovers. Snagged a few pieces of that sirloin too. It was too good to let him take it all home.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Another Mod Day in the 209.

We fitted @roguegs Tonneau cover around his RTT rack. @510to209Taco did his ECGS bushing. @CalTacoma09 installed bed stiffeners, replaced his battery terminals, and @foxrcing07 was able to diagnose his rear locker problem. We checked out @Sharkfrog projector headlights and think we nailed down the problem. @sd1uh8as stopped by to bring some TW express parts. And @Pella stopped by to say hi.

All I did was install some 1.25 Spidertrax... that @sd1uh8as brought over for me... and and bunch of bullshitting

Im gunna be taking a fishing trip soon with a buddy. We both got kayaks im going to need to haul. 3+ hours into the sierras, 99% chance all paved highways/freeway.

Anyone have any opinions on driving with the camper shell window open? I shoved both of them in there and had to leave the tailgate down and window/door open last weekend. Worked fine for the 10 minute drive to the river. However, ive heard stories of guys braking their glass from driving with it open. Id imagine it should be fine so long as it doesnt bounce into something? Perhaps i could unscrew the window from the hinges. Its a fiberglass/frameless window/door so im a little skeptical on messing with it.

I added a roof rack to my camper shell for my kayaks. Works great2DB776CE-EFC6-4FB0-A6A3-C5CFDAE36F01.jpg

Yes yes. Plans for that in the future. But gotta work with what i got for this trip unfortunately.

He may drive his car(with his on his roof rack) if i dont feel comfortable hauling both, but thatd be a major waste

I just strap down the back window to my hitch. A few weeks ago I drove 5 hours or so with the glass pressed against a shelf and it was all good. Just gotta make sure to tie down the kayaks.
