    I’ve had a few Thule T2 hutch mounts over the years and currently have a roof rack. We plan on eventually pulling a small pop up so the T2 would be out. I’m hoping to find something that doesn’t require me to take off a wheel and still allows me easy access/use of the bed. Otherwise it looks like my best bet will be to use cross bars over the tonneau cover.

    I miss the pocket on the back of the seat, thankfully they haven't done away with the one on the Passenger seat yet.

    Somewhat related question;
    Why do many of you prefer the fork mount on the rail Vs. Using a tailgate pad?

    I’m a little lost as to the benefits of the fork mount over any other bed carrying option, but I don’t want to be an ignorant wiener about it either.

    Also KBVoodoo makes brackets that are compatible with most tonneaus, if you want to put a full bike rack over the top of the cover:

    http://www.kbvoodoo.com/shop/toyota...-use-with-tonneau-covers-fits-years-2005-2016

    the full setup would be a lot of money... but I eventually want to go this route, so I can carry several bikes without sacrificing the bed space.

    Weird, I've hauled my Large 29" Tallboy (120mm) thousands of miles with the fork mount on the bed floor and the tailgate closed just fine. Tailgate pad (I just use a blanket) is fine for short hauls and certainly more versatile for different axle sizes/spacings, as well as hauling more bikes, plus you don't have to store the wheels separately. On the other hand it's nice to be able to open the tailgate and slide in a big cooler or gear box between the bikes. I actually started using the fork mounts when I had a shell mounted ... and I now have a hitch rack too. Every option :)

    I had been trying to decide how I wanted to carry my bike on the truck, recently picked up the Mobtown bed bars and was able to mount the bike rack from my other car on the bars. This was from my test fit:

    Just got my new truck a couple weeks ago! I installed the front rail and a rocky mounts hotrod. One of my bikes fits perfectly! The other will have to sit diagonal. Does this cause any trouble with the bike or the mount/front rail?

    Nice man, I always wished I had that opportunity. I knew a guy who was doing them at a foam pit and then tried to throw down a flip over a 20ft table. He def didn't rotate like he should have and im surprised he didn't pop his neck.

    In my opinion it's not worth it as a weekend warrior. If I had the opportunity for a foam pit I would be all over it, but a guy I ride with now is trying to complete backflip before end of the year. It's scary shit just to have as a party trick

    Who makes the standouts that marries the bike tray to the bed rack? I need!

    You'd think that would be an easy design, something like the voodoo towers but instead of vertical, they have horizontal ends with universal attachment options.

    [IMG]

    like this, but flat, not vertical.

    509BD4B4-450D-4250-BDDB-67CBB9E2DFFB.jpg Grabbed a good shot of the Ripmo on the last local trail ride. Being relatively new at this sport (started April 2017) I’m still enjoying smashing strava PRs almost weekly as long as I rotate my riding areas. Such a fun way to burn 3-4 days per week after work.
