Installed the rear set up this past Friday! Such a great stance and I am positive my rear rubbing issues on the trails is solved for good!

Bought a 2nd set of the TRD "bead lock" rings and had them powder coated black. Looks pretty sharp!

BIG CHANGES COMING IN 2 WEEKS!!!!

Alright. Been a while. So...recently completed the following:

    • LCA rebuild/upgraded done by the guys at RSG Off Road
    • Kenwood Excelon Deck installed and system retuned
    • Cobra 75 WXST CB Installed

    Those changes I mentioned.....

On 7/15, I am road tripping to El Cajon, CA to the Pelfreybilt shop. They will be completing/installing the following:
    • Aluminum front bumper
    • High Clearance Rear Bumper
    • Baja Design corner lights and center light bar
    • Warn Winch
    • Upgrading to steel skid plates
    • Exhaust re-route
VERY excited for this road trip. I do plan to photo/video journal the thing so stay tuned!

Well....big chunks of the project have recently come together.

Over this summer (2018) I bit the bullet and went all in on Pelfreybilt bumpers, upgraded to steel skids, added a warn winch, BD lighting and new Fox 650 lb coils.

Learning this week that I actually have the LAST Pelfreybilt truck ever done at their shop. I also got the last high clearance bumper for a 2nd Gen to come out of that shop. Lots of feelings going around about the company right now given the recent events but I can tell you that my personal experience was great. The product is top quality, the install matched that quality and the Pelfrey team couldn't have been nicer. I am very glad I was able to get in just under the wire. I feel for all of my fellow TW folks who are out cash and/or product. I hope in time there is some solution that is come to that takes care of everyone but also know that will be tough.

All of that sadness aside.....more in love with this truck than ever and looking forward to the Moab trip I have set for November.
