You have that Weber set up just perfectly. Nice use of the cast iron.

I'm not a beans guy, but those look tasty as hell.

Did a little work on getting a keg smoker knocked out today. I still need to add the ball valve, weld a fire basket together, then get it powder coated.

We'll call it a warm up before the big project later this year. :D

I pick up my second one on Thursday from TruValue an hour away from here, closest one. But am headed there anyhow. Both were $100 hang in there! And yes they are worth it.

Degenerative Arthritis. Words you don't want to hear. Yeah getting old sucks but beats the alternative. Someday's anyhow. And some nights I swear can damage something just sleeping. Should be getting my knees replaced soon. And fingers ache just typing this. But got lots done around the place today including grilling even if it was on the gasser.

Costco thick pork marinated 24 hours in ginger ale and soy. Cubed and basted with Italian spicy dressing. With plenty of apple wood smoke. Pork, Onions and Peppers first.

    Then pineapple and cherry tomatoes.

Now I want ice cream. No room for it but still want it. That turned out exceptionally well and know what is for lunch tomorrow.

Yesterday: Burgers with 2 parts beef, 1 part pork with Pitfaced rub mixed in. Quite nice.

Today: Reverse seared steaks with once baked, once smoked potatoes. I'm convinced that the Traeger reverse sear is completely different than when I do it on a gas or charcoal grill. That crusty deliciousness gets all over the outside of the meat and I love it.

Steaks were garbo quality but I think it's a good sendoff for my work trip tomorrow.

I didn’t get to smoke/grill anything this weekend, however was at a tailgate that done it up right. This is me and my older brother with a keg of his home brew. This was six hours before kick off...

Photo dump from this weekend. Jalepenos were from the garden. Cap steak in bacon grease since it was windy outside.
