I get decent mpg and i live mile up. The Taco to me is piece of mind...have had two of em before switching to my car phase then back to a mid-size and to me it just fits. Crossed shop an F-150 before getting the Tacoma and after my brothers nightmare with his Ford Exploder...glad I went back to Toyota. Had domestics before and I just can’t rely on em. Had issues that I’m not willing to gamble on again with...there are better options for sure if your need is “cabin size” or towing/hauling...but I don’t need any of that on a regular basis, I place my value on dependability and reliability. To each is own.

I've had my 16 taco for over 2 years now and I love it, but my wife only sits in the back when our son is in the front, (that's the way he rules, like he always says), he's 6'3" and my wife is fine but it is cramped for him in the backseat. I plan on switching a few years down the road to a F150 crew cab for the extra room. If you are a hunter, and take any long trips like we do it is small in the back, but we have managed so far..
