Yeah and now I have to deal with that shit up here in LA.

Why didn't you guys build them a new stadium instead of them getting dumped on us.

I'm good. Send them to Vegas maybe.

Bunch of snowflakes. SD didn't want the added tax.
    Their stadium was just fine

wasn't the added tax going to be strictly applied to hotels only?
Least that's what i remember hearing on The Show....

It’s a really long story, but San Diego offered the Chargers the best deal any professional sports team could have dreamed of years ago. In short, the Chargers would have gotten the current land Qualcomm sits on and 3x that with adjacent land, all for $1. The caveat was that the Chargers had to fund a new stadium however they could only their own. The city went so far as to line up investors for them (100% committed to funding), provided land development plans for a shopping mall and apartments (pre-approved) for residual annual income and no city taxes. Spanos pissed on the deal because he wanted a new stadium effort free like other teams were getting. In short, Spanos pissed on a deal were the land is now 20x the value and now the Chargers are 50% or less of potential value, in a city that doesn’t want them, can’t move back to the city that he abandoned, and has to lease a stadium from a competitor. It was Spanos that f’d up whole thing from the get go because he was too greedy.

The proposed area would’ve forced the port of San Diego to move if I remember correctly, that shit ain’t happening. They wanted downtown and the impact on the port would’ve been too great.

    Amen

@Titus94 I am fully aware that is not in Poway, only a 10 minute drive South from Poway and well worth it.

Possibly, I didn’t know about said meet on Thursday. When and where?
