Any idea what is causing this issue? The truck (2018 Tacoma TRD-OR) started doing this with only a couple hundred miles, maybe even immediately off the lot and somehow I didn’t notice right away. Both front driver and passenger doors are affected, although passenger side seems worse. Occurs when manually pressing power lock button and when truck attempts to auto lock doors when starting to drive. Also, when I lock with key fob, move key fob away from truck, I can still sometimes open one of the doors, either fully or partially (door pops out half inch or so). Other times it manages to lock. Super annoying as I’m now putting keys on the bumper and then going around checking the doors.

Dropped it off at the dealership yesterday. They said they are unfamiliar with the issue, but have ordered replacement actuators. The service guy said the mechanic didn’t actually take the door apart to inspect.

There are no after-market mods on the truck, other than window tint applied by said dealership.
