The OEM U-joints are spicers. If you buy them at the dealership you will get no grease zerks and more expensive, if you go to the parts store you can get them with a grease jerk

 

3.0s getting shipped out Friday for the front, need to buy some resi hoses. anyone have some leads on some pure race resis?

Easy answer is there is no easy answer. Amount of preload you’ll need is individual to your truck and will vary by your suspension, spring weight, weight of the vehicle etc etc. there is no set standard, but if you were to drop all of it I would expect you to lose most if not all of your lift unless you have a heavy front coil in which case your truck would currently ride like shit.

I've been trying to talk my friend into getting a V8 4th gen - Toyota messed up when they didn't put that in the Taco with a 6 speed
