    Howdy.
Got my first Taco last week.
2018 TRD Off Road long bed 4 Dr Inferno.

I fell in love with the styling of these trucks while visiting my son who lives on Oahu.

Unfortunately I ran through some fresh road tar that got on the bottom of the doors and other areas near the bottom of the truck that left black dots that won't come out with bug and tar remover. No problem getting it off the paint. Any suggestions for removing the black dots are much apprecisted. Pic attached.

    I've tried:
    Bug & Tar remover.
    Good Gone with Q tip.
Citrus bicycle chain cleaner. With Q tip.
    Mineral spirits. With Q tip.

It appears that what ever it is has embedded itself into the protective spray rock chip coating and is not coming out. Bummer.

    Reserected from the dead.
Have you tried lanolin based, waterless hand cleaner?

It's my go to for stubborn stains on paint and will not harm the paint.

I'll give it a try but I'm not hopeful. These stains are in the rocker paint not on it. May need to try some light rubbing or polishing compond. Not sure how deep it goes.
