Professional Carpet Cleaning

I'm getting ready to move and our carpet is terrible. Landlord did a walkthrough and he recommended we get a professional cleaner to do the job so we could get our full deposit back... seemed kinda odd to me. Is he really trying to help me out or is he just trying to save his own dime?

Anyway, does anyone know a good carpet cleaning service that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

 

would you rather pay 500 to get ur 500 back? or not pay anything to get carpets cleaned and not get full deposit back?

You can go out and rent a RugDoctor at major supermarkets and do it yourself. If you leave it and let him do it- He'll just take part or all of your deposit.

It will most likely cost less to get it done/do it on your own than to let him do it. I bought a Bissel hot wash carpet cleaner for like 200 bucks. Use it once a year around the house.
