Noob oil change question

    Yup that was my main concern as well. You can sorta tell from my pic above, but it almost looked like it could've been part of the threading or something and I didn't want to damage it... God knows how much it would've cost to replace the drain pan.

    I took a flathead screwdriver and placed it on the side of the gasket perpendicular to the gasket and it came off after a couple taps.
