Does anyone have any pics or vids of what the terrain is like? How hard is it?

I have CB. I'll be on channel 10 once there unless it's swamped. Then 5......

The shortest route for me is north on I 65 to exit 7. That puts me on US 60 that takes me straight to Linton. Let me know what route you guys are taking.

Looks like it's about a 4 hour run for me... damn! I would take either I-74 or I-70.

We'll probably meet you at the gate.

    We're 2-1/2 hours due south.

We will be leavingMt Washington Ky about 7AM. Should put is at Redbird around 11AM. That factors. In gas stop, breakfast, etc.

Nothingsays we all need to hit the gate at the same exact moment.

I went there once years ago in early spring, and it was a big soupy mess. It was pretty much slide down one hill, winch up the next. But I think this was more of a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time of the year.

I've always wanted to go back and explore the area properly. Don't think I'll be able to make the 15th trip, but very interested to hear how it goes.

From people who've been there recently, the trails that can be covered in a vehicle such as ours, maybe 3 or 4 hours to cover... You don't want to be there while it's raining, or in early spring before the winter freeze/thaw has had a chance to solidify a bit. A couple friends of mine go there frequently. If it was extremely difficult you wouldn't see them there.... I'm not a huge fan of deep watery "mud" (standing water) Not looking for that.

What type of tires are you running? Talked with someone who was there a couple weeks ago. Suggested minimum of 33" and mud tires over AT's....
