    Yes, I'm in Manteo though. My biggest concern is sound side flooding and rain. I have family in Buxton and Avon though who decided they'd rather get stranded on a strip of sand :frusty: The sound is being pushed in land right now with this wind, time will tell.

    South 12 from Oregon Inlet south is closed as of now according to NCDOT. There's word going around that there is a big chunk of road missing somewhere between Frisco and Hatteras.

    Got a place a mile up the road that's a big open area that doesn't flood from rain and has no way of ocean/sound water to get to it. As for the people beach front all the way down to SC, hopefully they hightailed it.
