But just a heads up get on to the dealerships website and print off a copy of the warranty plan and read it over just so you know what Toyota means when they say " bumper to bumper "

People that think every single mass produced product should be 100% trouble free for the entire period of ownership.

So I had the same thing happen to me with my 2018, what did you do to get the warranty upgraded? They had my truck three different times about 2 weeks total. And the path was exactly the same. I kept getting stories like "toyota engineering is working on it" and "they are sending a field service guy to look at it"

The tried swapping the canister, then the fuel tank module, then they went after the fill neck and seals. It had been good for the last 200 miles.

So this happened on my very first new truck ever a 2018 MGM TRD DCSB OR MT. It not only happened once but twice, they said they "fixed" it the first time. Twas a very shitty 2 weeks. Service guy even called me with confidence. Lol. Although they replaced it with a super white one that I love and own now, I'm still very skeptical on the quality of these newer Toyotas but that didnt stop me from wanting to pour money into mods. Haha.

My first MGM was made in Mexico, my current SW is made in Texas. No issues so far except for diff howl and I feel garbage paint quality. Seems thin.

Dude the paint...yes... I’ve put so many “thru the paint” scratches from doing dumbass stuff with my pontoon boat trailer and soft canopy that I’m numb from how quick it will probably degrade. I did touch up paint professionally by yours truly on all spots and now they look like battle scars. Sorry, quick photo, wife’s trying to have me go
