Out of curiosity, have you looked closely at your doors/rear panels for rock chips? Just wondering how things hold up without the mud guards.

Mud guards are a requirement for my truck. I go on gravel trails at least once a week and can hear the rocks flying. My oem mud guards were $65 so $130 is absurd.

Wonder how he feels about redlining? Can’t baby these trucks. Well I know I don’t mine anyways.

Its a way to save money for the manufacturer. Some vehicles don't even come with spare tires anymore. I know my wife's last hyundai elantra only had a can of fix a flat as the spare tire system. The tire and jack were optional purchases.

You know for a while, like late 70s early 80s, the rear bumper was optional on a lot of trucks.
